Dysmorphophobia is defined as a mental disorder characterized by the obsessive idea that some aspect of one’s own body part or appearance is severely flawed and warrants exceptional measures to hide or fix their dysmorphic part on their person.
I became obsessed with proportions and the search for harmony in my body as I grew older, only to realize that our "flaws" are the fingerprints of our identity. The goal of this collection is to celebrate these flaws by creating unconventional shapes and experimenting with a new material, vinylized fabric, to highlight the altered silhouettes.
